And I found lookalikes starting at $40.

There are three shoe styles that currently run the footwear world: dad sneakers, Mary Janes, and loafers. In particular, loafers have popped up everywhere thanks to their ease, comfort, and totally stylish build. They’re such a fan favorite that celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Garner, and Emma Watson have been reaching for the totally cool shoes. But another blank space on the loafer list was just filled by Taylor Swift.

Yesterday, Swift was spotted leaving Nobu Malibu in California, hand-in-hand with Travis Kelce. She wore a crew neck sweater tucked into a pleated skort and accessorized with tortoiseshell sunglasses, a brown structured purse, and gold Cartier necklace. For shoes, she slipped on the popular Reformation Agathea Loafer, which has been worn in various colors by Katie Holmes and Gigi Hadid.

Her footwear gave major vintage vibes, boasting a round toe, prominent stitching, and lug sole. Though, it was the two-toned design that drew my attention, playing off of the famous Spectator shoe; it’s unique, bold, yet still serves as a staple in any footwear collection. And while loafers are often thought of as a fall shoe, Swift is proving otherwise.

The only downside? Swift’s polished shoes are sold out and already have a waitlist forming — much like anything she lays a finger on. Thankfully, I found six other options that mimic the superstar’s style, starting at $40.

I’m especially fond of the Franco Sarto Balin loafer, which includes a deep burgundy color (or should we say Maroon?) contrasted against a cream upper. It’s made of patent synthetic leather and includes a round toe, comfortable footbed, and thick sole for style and traction. You can even shop the same style in a black and leopard print variation for something a bit more edgy.

On sale for $40, the Mia Amore Penny Loafer captures the aesthetic of Swift’s original shoes. A lugged sole plays into today’s trends, faux leather elevates the style, and contoured footbed brings comfort. Shop the refined shoe in sizes 6 to 10 and recreate Swift’s outfit with the help of this Free People denim skort, which was previously worn by the singer.

If you’re okay with forgoing the chunky sole, then the G.H. Bass Whitney loafer is a great alternative. Made with genuine leather and a smooth bottom, the sophisticated footwear makes all of your outfits instantly more luxe. The slim silhouette is great for the fashion minimalists, offering a timeless loafer that will never go out of style.

No matter which shoe you choose, you can anticipate an easy-to-style footwear choice and comfort, thanks to the flat sole. Simply pair your new loafers with mini skirts, wide-leg jeans, button-up tops, T-shirts, and more. Pro tip: utilize the shoe’s color blocking to guide the rest of your ensemble, much like Swift coordinated her purse with the brown leather.
