It takes all of my willpower to not buy everything at Target right now. Anyone else? Between the low vase centerpieces in the dollar section and these classy ribbed glass containers, there are so many fun goodies that I desperately want to stock up on. However, if I had to choose one, I would have to say the most recent find is my current top priority: lemon-shaped serving bowls. You heard me right, bowls in the shape of a lemon. They are utterly adorable and perfect for your summer spread, and despite the fact that I said I really don’t want to buy more stuff to fit in my tiny New York City apartment, I think I’m going to have to break my rule and give my RedCard a workout.

$28.49 at Target

There are two sizes of these bowls currently in the set sold at just under $29: a larger serving bowl that holds up to 72 ounces of food, and four smaller individual bowls that hold up to 18 ounces. They are made of melamine, a harder plastic material, but by the way they shine and gleam, these bowls are almost convincing enough to look like high-quality ceramic. Keep in mind they are dishwasher safe but not microwave safe. So maybe not the best dish to heat up those leftovers in, but perfect for serving that Greek pasta salad you’ve been dying to make as the warmer weather approaches.

These lemon bowls are actually a play on the popular plastic lemon bowl sets found in Target’s dollar spot last summer. Shoppers loved this item so much for all of their chip and dip needs last summer that it seems the popular retailer took note and is now selling a sturdier, high-quality set for all of your hosting needs.

This item is currently not sold in stores, but easy to buy online. They’re also part of a larger Lemon Zest Melamine Dinnerware Collection with all kinds of gorgeous Italian-inspired plates and serving trays, including a 3D lemon serving tray set with a shallow lemon bowl and a serving plate.

Needless to say, a little shopping spree at Target might be in your future. I know it’s in mine!
