Retailers are always trying to make sweatpants a tad more stylish. Moving past the days of just wearing sweatpants to lounge around in at home, sweatpants are now a pretty popular option to wear all day long whether you’re going out or not. Target has done this pretty well with this, making wide leg, baggy sweatpants to cropped, vibrant sweatpants for spring. And their newest lounge pants incorporate the recent cargo trend in such a cute way, they even look like styles from Lululemon and Free People that are a lot more expensive.

Target’s Gen Z/Millennial-focused line, Wild Fable, recently came out with the Women's High-Rise Wide Leg Baggy Cargo Sweatpants and they seem like a hit so far. As you could have probably guessed, they have a high-rise, baggy cargo style to them while still being sweats. They have a “soft, midweight fabric” made up of 60% cotton and 40% recycled polyester. These sweatpants have an elastic waistband and open bottoms (hence the “wide leg” in its name). Again, since they’re a cargo pant, they of course have side and patch pockets.

They’re currently $28 and come in three colors: pewter (which is like a washed-out brown), sage green and white. The sage green also has a faded look that’s harder to see than on the pewter. They come in sizes XXS through 4X, though it looks like they only sell up to XXL and 1X in most stores.

Popular shopping Instagram account, @shesattarget, posted about these Wild Fable cargo sweatpants, writing that even though she owns “a few other pairs of wide leg and cargo sweatpants from Target” that she really likes, “these might be the cutest ones yet.”

One commenter wrote that even though they don’t know how they’d look in the sweats, “man are these sooofttt!!!" One review on Target’s site concurred, writing, “I love them, they are super comfy." Another person wrote that these are “perfect sweats.”

"These are sooooo comfy and you can either dress it up or down!” they went on to write. “Def recommend!"

As stated up top, these cargo sweatpants are lookalikes to the Cotton-Blend Double-Knit Mid-Rise Cargo Pant ($148) from Lululemon. Plus, as one user commented under @shesattarget’s post, these are “giving free people,” potentially referencing the Low Key Set. This set consists of a “relaxed” crewneck sweatshirt and cargo-style sweatpants for $108 at Free People. The bottoms are baggy, boxy and “low-key,” made with the exact same material make up as Target’s (60% cotton and 40% polyester).

So if you’re like us and constantly trying to find new, fun ways to incorporate sweatpants into your daily life, then Target’s Women's High-Rise Wide Leg Baggy Cargo Sweatpants might be ones you should try. Because why work from home or run errands in something that’s uncomfortable?
