Target Is Selling $40 Raffia Platform Heels That Are So Similar to Dolce Vita and Shoppers Are Buying Multiple at a Time

Raffia is having a moment right now. It’s a natural fiber made of leaves from the raffia palm tree and takes on a sort of wicker look, but is a bit more delicate. Raffia is used in a lot of hats, shoes and sandals, especially for warmer weather, which makes sense as to why the material is currently trending. And Target has a pair of platform heels made with raffia that rivals similar heels from Dolce Vita.
Target’s modern women’s clothing line, A New Day, recently dropped the Women's Ricky Platform Heels and shoppers already really like them. They’re $39.99 and feature a slip-on style of platform sandal heels; they have a thick band at the front of the slip-on heel and no backing or back strap. It’s a comfortable platform with a 3.5-inch wedge heel. These heels also have a memory foam insole for comfort and an open round-toe style.

These platform heels come in three colors, with the beige color being the raffia material all around the shoe’s top strap and wedge heel. The other colors, black and cognac, are a faux leather material. They all come in medium-width and wide-width options and sizes ranging from 5 to 14.
Shoppers seem to really like these heels, with one reviewer writing that these are the “Perfect Block Platform."

Lisha Heels, $130 at Dolce Vita
And as we said up top, these Target heels are so similar to Dolce Vita’s new Lisha Heels. They’re $130 on Dolce Vita’s website and the color “LT Natural Raffia” is a similar design to Target’s Ricky Platform Heel in beige. Their raffia is in thick braids bordering the wedge heel and in a woven style on the shoe’s thick strap. They have a 4-inch heel height and a rubber sole.
Target’s Ricky Platform Heels are a great buy if you want a tall yet comfortable heel with a beachy vibe. Whether you match them to your sunhat or wear them to dinner, they’re bound to make a statement.
