Mother’s Day can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people, but there’s one thing all moms have in common: they gotta eat.

Your moms don”t want another candle or a bouquet of flowers that will die; they want to spend time with you. We’ve compiled a list of restaurants that will provide a meal for your mother she didn’t have to make.

Special events for Mother’s Day

Goetchius House

The Goetchius House is dedicating their Saturday brunch to mothers. Seating is limited, so you must reserve now.

Tea Party On Mother’s Day Weekend

  • Saturday, May 11, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Reserve tickets for the tea and light buffet.

Trevioli at the Rapids

Have Mother’s Day with an Italian touch. Reservations aren’t technically required, but the restaurant strongly encourages them to guarantee seating for brunch with a special Mother’s Day menu.

Millhouse Kitchen + Bar

Treat mom to a fancy dinner with seating directly on the Riverwalk. You can have lunch or dinner on Saturday, but lunch only on Mother’s day proper.

Epic Restaurant

Among the first of Columbus’ fine dining restaurants, mom will feel very appreciated after a dinner here. If you’re really trying to impress, vie for a seat at the Chef’s table.

Eagle & Phenix Mill

Mabella’s Italian Steakhouse

Want a steak in Uptown or North Columbus? You and your mother can choose between locations since the Midland spot is now open.

Cannon Brew Pub

If your mom is a beer drinker, this is the perfect place. I like the Red Jacket Ale, but you can’t go wrong with any of their beers.

Banks Food Hall

If Mom likes variety, this is the play. With a diverse mix of vendors, there will be something for everyone.

Bluewater Grill and Bar

The absolute best seafood you’ll get from a restaurant in a gas station. Trust me, your mother will love it, and you can fill her tank up too.

Let your mom live. Let her stay home, in her sweat pants and watch her stories, if that’s what she wants. Pick up some takeout and y’all can eat Mother’s Day lunch on the couch.
