There's nothing like the memories of prom to make a grown woman cringe — the Betsey Johnson frills, the corsages, the pressure around virginity, the completely unnecessary and environmentally irresponsible Hummerzines. During the Fall 2017 runway season, it seemed that you couldn't exit a fashion show without bumping into a model rushing to her next show, shielding her eyes (those are the moneymakers, after all) with a pair of sunglasses featuring brightly hued colored lenses.
