Michael Miller: PSYCLES Exhibition Opening

Critical MASS 11 Visual Art winner Michael Miller will be showcasing several pieces inside Artspace. There are also two other exhibitions celebrating Critical MASS 12, along with a performance at 7:30 pm by QMajor the Violinist.

BIKE Shreveport’s 10-Year Anniversary Slow Roll

Let’s get some #ButtsOnBikes! Celebrate 10 years of BIKE Shreveport as they ride 6-8 miles at a casual pace through Shreveport. Bring lights for visibility once the sun goes down. Cruisers, kids, and entry-level cyclists are welcome. Water and helmets are strongly recommended.

When: 6:30 pm Friday, April 26. Columbia Park, 634 Columbia Park, Shreveport.

Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap

It’s BPCC’s final weekend of The Mousetrap, a fantastic murder mystery that follows the guests and staff of Monkswell Manor during a snowstorm. Who’s the murderer? You’ll just have to find out for yourself.

When: 7:30-9:30 pm Friday and Saturday, April 26-27; 2-4 pm Sunday, April 28. BPCC, Building C, 6220 E. Texas Street, Bossier City.

Admission: $15; free for students with ID; recommended for teen and mature audiences.

The Golden Girls: A Drag Show

It’s time to celebrate the fan-favorite TV show, The Golden Girls. We hear there may even be cheesecake to munch on. The show includes performances by Katie Mae Andrews, Bernadette De’Stake, Lady Prismatic, and Jacquelyn Cayne.

When: 10:30 pm, Friday, April 26. The Korner Lounge, 800 Louisiana Ave., Shreveport.

Pride in the Park

Browse through local vendors, learn from local community organizations and bring the kids for a fun-filled arts and crafts corner at the annual Pride in the Park event, hosted by PACE. Food trucks will be on-site, too.

When: 11 am-3 pm, Saturday, April 27. Columbia Park, 634 Columbia Street, Shreveport.

Taco Wars 2024

It’s back and bigger than ever. Taco lovers, unite, it’s time for the war of the year. Taco Wars showcases local taquerias as they battle it out for The Golden Taco, a coveted prize brought to you by Prize Fest.

When: 11 am-8 pm Saturday, April 27. Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, 713 Elvis Presley Blvd., Shreveport.

Beast Feast 2024

Beast Feast is back with another evening of culinary masterpieces prepared by local restaurateurs and backyard chefs. Features wild game, seafood, and other “off the menu” items. All proceeds from the event go to support student scholarships.

Meet & Greet Mixer at The Mystic Broom

Have you heard of Springhill’s newest metaphysical shop? If you haven’t, join in the fun during their quarterly meet and greet mixer. Enjoy finger foods, drinks, and other snacks while meeting other members of the pagan and LGBTQ+ community.

Doggy Day Out at Hurricane Alley LIVE!

Grab your pup and hit the East Bank District for a Sunday Funday just for you and your buddy. Organized by Sugar Sheaux and Airline Animal Health & Surgery Center, Doggy Day Out includes a rabies vaccine clinic, wellness exam, nail clippings, playground and obstacle course, raffles, door prizes and live music beginning at 7 pm.
