Sydney Sweeney Embraces Lace in Shushu/Tong Little Black Dress With Sheer Details While Promoting ‘Immaculate’

Sydney Sweeney put a lacy spin on the little black dress while attending a talk at 92NY in New York on Wednesday. The “Euphoria” actress sat down with host and podcaster Josh Horowitz.
Sweeney sported a ruffled minidress from Shushu/Tong’s spring 2024 collection, which featured a panel of lace at the midsection. The actress accessorized with small hoop earrings, diamond rings, sheer Calzedonia stockings and ankle-strap pumps.

Sweeney was assisted by her longtime stylist, Molly Dickson, whose other clients include Camila Mendes, Lana Del Rey and “Barbie” star Ariana Greenblatt.
Sweeney wore her dirty blond tresses in a sleek bob, while her makeup consisted of winged eyeliner, a pink-mauve lip and matching blush.
The coquette aesthetic is proving popular this year, with full skirts, lace, florals and pale hues taking the fashion world by storm. During the spring 2024 season, designers including Simone Rocha, Richard Quinn and Valentino embraced feminine flairs, sending romantic silhouettes down the runway.
Sweeney’s latest project, “Immaculate,” hits theaters on Friday. The horror film, directed by Michael Mohan, follows a nun’s journey to a secluded convent in the Italian countryside. Sweeney was drawn to the project after auditioning for the film a decade ago.
“It never got made, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it,” Sweeney told WWD earlier this month. “I kept dreaming up how I’d want to film it, the cinematography, everything. I would call my agent almost every year being like, ‘Whatever happened to this?’ And then I thought, ‘Maybe I should take this into my own hands and see if I can make it myself.’”
After acquiring rights to the script under her production banner, Fifty-Fifty Films, Sweeney assisted in casting her fellow “White Lotus” alum, Simona Tabasco. One of the show’s executive producers, David Bernard, also produced “Immaculate.”
