'Summer House' Airs Lindsay's Drug Accusations Against Former Fiance Carl

It's been months since Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke called off their engagement but fans are finally getting a glimpse into what led to the downfall of their relationship.

In the Thursday, Feb. 29 episode of Bravo's Summer House, the former couple – who are still very much together on the show and in wedding planning mode – have a bit of a spat, which took place during filming in summer 2023, a few months before Carl, 39, broke up with Lindsay, 37, and called off the wedding.

In the episode, the cast decides to go out partying for the night in the Hamptons, which cameras did not catch but was later explained in confessional interviews.

According to the retell of the story, Lindsay was riding in a Lyft to the bars with Carl and fellow castmates Kyle Cooke and Jesse Soloman instead of the other girls, which she worried might cause a rift. From Carl's point of view, he calmly tries to console his fiancé and tells her it's not that big of a deal, while Lindsay feels like he "shut [her] down and dismisses [her] altogether."

That's when things take a turn. In the car, Lindsay asks Carl, a recovering addict, "what he's on." Kyle and Jesse later explain that the comment seemed to come out of nowhere and that things escalated quickly from "zero to 100," which the girls later pick up on when they all meet up at the bar.

About an hour later, cameras pick up Lindsay returning to the house with costar Gabby Prescod and telling her about the Carl situation as they walk in.

"Something is going on with him," Lindsay tells Gabby. "The way he spoke to me tonight is very reminiscent of Carl on cocaine. I don't know what happened with him, but he was not sober tonight."

Gabby proceeds to call Carl to see where the rest of the group is, and after she hangs up, tells Lindsay, "That sounded like a sober man to me."

When Carl and the rest of the cast do arrive home, he immediately goes to the bedroom with Lindsay and they continue to argue.

"My heart's racing as I say this, and I'm shaking from it because it's beyond hurtful, it's f--ked up and that's the person I'm supposed to marry?" he tells the camera in a confessional. "The accusation or insinuation that I'm on something, that kills me."

The next morning, the former couple continued to argue over the events of the night and that's where the episode ends.

As viewers now know, Carl called off the engagement after filming ended in September 2023, just months before they were supposed to walk down the aisle in Mexico. Since then, both have shared their stories of what went wrong in the relationship.
