What 'Summer House' Star Lindsay Hubbard Plans to do With Engagement Ring

Lindsay Hubbard is finally ready to move on from Carl Radke.
The Summer House star was admittedly "blindsided" when her fiancé called things off just three months before their wedding date, but now she is bringing all of her focus to her healing journey.
For Hubbard, 37, part of moving on meant getting rid of the engagement ring Radke, 38, gave her when he proposed back in August 2022.
In a new interview with Us Weekly, Hubbard not only went into detail about her shocking split from Radke, but she also revealed her plans for the diamond ring that she no longer needs.
"I gave it to my jeweler to sell it," she told the publication, adding, "I need to make up for all the lost money on the wedding."
Hubbard and Radke were supposed to tie the knot in a destination wedding in Mexico on Nov. 17, but all of those plans came crashing down in August when Radke abruptly decided to call it quits.
As a result of Radke's choice to break off the engagement, Hubbard said it was his responsibility to cancel all of the wedding services they had previously booked.
"Since Carl decided to call off the wedding, he can be responsible for sending the email [to the guests]," Hubbard told the outlet. "Why would it be on me? This was not my decision."
Hubbard also revealed that she still lives at the apartment she and Radke once shared, stating, "I love my apartment. I spent a lot of time, money and effort to make this home comfortable for us, for him to then burn it down."
"And at this point, I’m not in the mind space to think about, 'Oh, where am I gonna live now?'" she added.
Instead, Hubbard has been focusing on moving on and spending time with her girlfriends. She is also planning to write a book about her personal life, which she said she would intentionally start writing on what was supposed to be her wedding day.
