Street medicine program plans April 27 dermatology clinic
Apr. 17—ROCHESTER — Zumbro Valley Medical Society's Street Medicine program is planning an April 27 dermatology clinic for people experiencing unstable housing.
Physicians and medical students will provide free skin exams and specialty care for skin conditions, including rashes, acne, concerning spots, wound care, skin infections, and foot care. Shoes will also be distributed.
The clinic is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. April 27 at Zumbro Lutheran Church, 624 Third Ave. SW, using funds from a United Way of Olmsted County grant.
Following the dermatology clinic, volunteers in the street medicine program plan to provide dermatology care through regular drop-in clinics at additional locations and through their street rounds.
