Story of Rescued Cat’s Amazing Transformation Is Giving People the Feels

Sometimes a story that seems like it's hopeless is lucky enough to find a happy ending, and that's certainly the case for this rescued cat named Faith. Saaving Lives shared a video at the end of January 2024 about Faith's amazing recovery after being hit by a car, and it's one you have to see to believe.

Faith came to the rescue center in September 2023. She was paralyzed in all four legs, incontinent, and couldn't do anything by herself. Doctors recommended she be euthanized, but her rescuer wasn't ready to give up on her. After months of care, something incredible happened - Faith began to sit, then stand, and then walk!

After all of those tests saying there was nothing wrong with her, I wonder if it was more of a mental thing that prohibited her from walking. In just a few months she went from not even being able to move on her own to now looking for her forever home. What an incredible recovery! @Saaving Lives' video went viral and has been viewed more than 16 million times and has more than 27 thousand comments! People loved Faith's transformation and we're all wishing her the best - and that she finds her forever home. Most of the comments I read all agreed that her rescuer should keep her. I wasn't able to see if she found a home, but I'm really hoping she does!

Caring for Rescued Animals

There are so many animals out there that are rescued from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and other terrible situations. I'm so glad there are rescues out their like Saaving Lives who take these animals in and provide them with a temporary home until their fur-ever homes can be found. I see so many of these videos and know that the next pet we adopt will come from a shelter or rescue.

There are many different ways to help pets in need, even if you aren't in a place to adopt or provide a foster home for one. Donations are always welcome at shelters and rescues, whether in the form of money, food, or other supplies. You can also donate your time and help care for animals, find them homes, or even transport them to vet appointments and adoption events.

Follow your favorite shelters and rescues on social media. Give their posts a like, leave a comment, or share them to provide them with a greater reach and to get more eyes on their posts. Share their fundraising efforts and cheer them on. All of this is very helpful and doesn't cost you a penny!
