Star Wars: Ahsoka Contains Fan Favorite Cameo

If episode 4 wasn’t enough of a mic-drop moment for Star Wars: Ahsoka, episode 5 throws several more in for good measure. Here are the standout moments, including cameos, costumes, story setups and Easter eggs.

Episode 5 of Disney+’s latest live-action Star Wars series, called Shadow Warrior, featured plenty for fans to get excited about. That’s probably because it was directed by Dave Filoni, chief creative on Ahsoka and a man so secretive his Ahsoka co-directors still don’t know the ending.
The biggest surprise is the cameo by Captain Rex, as played by Temeura Morrison making his live-action debut as the character since being introduced in animated show The Clone Wars.
It’s not Morrison’s first showing in live-action, however. He also played Boba Fett in both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, and appeared as far back as 2002’s Star Wars: Attack of the Clones as Boba Fett’s dad, Jango Fett.
But that wasn’t all. We also get a scene involving young Anakin and young Ahsoka, a thrilling Clone Wars flashback, and a brief shot of Darth Vader marching into battle. As you’d expect, it drove fans wild. Here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
