Spring Trend Alert! Colorful Suitcases Are In — and These New Drops Prove It

We’re always keeping an eye out for new products and trends, and recently, we’ve been noticing a couple of brands dropping colorful suitcases, meaning a microtrend is definitely in the works. Lately, it’s been out with the neutrals and in with the fun colors, and honestly, great news for those of us who are done playing the guessing game of “Is this my suitcase?” at the baggage carousel. With a bolder-looking suitcase, you’ll likely have no trouble identifying it (without accidentally grabbing someone else’s luggage).

Two brands, in particular, have caught our eye: Away, which recently released a few new suitcase colors, and Delsey Paris, which just dropped a vibrant collab with Benetton (remember them!?). So, if you’re considering picking up a new suitcase before boarding your next flight, you might want to grab one of these colorful cases. Not to mention, they make for amazing gifts for your favorite jet-setter.

Now, if you want color but in a more muted way, you’ll want to head to Away. The brand has recently released some new colors including Sea Green, Clay Pink, and the newest, Tango Red. (The brand also recently dropped the more neutral Cloud Gray tone.) These colors are available across a range of the brand’s suitcases, as well as in the four-pack of The Insider Packing Cubes (though most of the new colors are already sold out, apart from the Tango Red).

That said, if you’re after suitcases that are colorful brightly and vibrantly, the Delsey Paris x United Colors of Benetton collection might be for you. You have quite a few options available, given that this collection offers five colors — four of which are bold and one of which is a neutral tone. Now you just have to decide how big your suitcase needs to be (there are three individual options in this collection) or if you want to go for a set instead (three choices here, too! We love variety.). Whichever you go for, each has a little pop of green where the iconic United Colors of Benetton label is, so even if you do go with the neutral black shade, it will still have some detailing to make it stand out, which, apart from style, is a lot of what what we’re going for.
