Can you spot the rattlesnake hidden in this Oklahoma photo? ‘Good thing they rattle’

A venomous snake was hiding in plain sight in a photo shared on Reddit, stumping many people who were struggling to find it.

The Reddit user from northwestern Oklahoma shared the photo Wednesday, May 1, on the Find The Sniper subreddit, a page where users post images involving hidden objects.

“Find the rattlesnake,” the Reddit user wrote in the post, which as of Thursday afternoon had more than 2,000 comments and 26,000 upvotes, the site’s equivalent of a “like” on Facebook.

The photo shows a plot of grass with some chunks of dirt and, somehow, a snake within it. Reddit users quickly realized they would be a lost cause if they took a wrong step in the area.

“Can confirm, would be dead,” one commenter said.

“It’s in my boot, isn’t it?” another commenter said.

“Good thing they rattle,” one other said.

Others accurately pointed out where the rattlesnake was — above the large patch of dirt on the left/middle portion of the image.

It wasn’t quite all of the snake, as the user who made the post said their lawnmower had clipped it.

“When I got out and found out it was a rattlesnake, I decided to toss it in the higher grass and take this picture so I could show my daughters how hard it actually is to see a snake just hanging out,” the original poster said.
