Sofia Vergara is taking advantage of summer while it lasts, lounging in the sun in stylish swimwear.
The actress shared new photos on Instagram amid news of her divorce from Joe Manganiello, with Vergara wearing a hot pink strapless one-piece with a sarong-style coverup tied at the hip. She had a drink in her hand, tagging Marival wine on the post. Beside Vergara in the photo was her niece, Claudia Vergara, looking just as trendy in a white swimsuit and coverup.
Vergara wrote along with the snaps, "Don't let the summer end! ☀️☀️☀️," translated from the Spanish, "Que no se acabe el summer!☀️☀️☀️."
As expected, the comments were filled with compliments for the actress, with notes like, "Beauties," "Waaaaoooooo," and lots of fire emojis.
News of Vergara's divorce came out in July, with the couple noting in a joint statement, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."
It wasn't long after that fans spotted Vergara without her wedding ring. Nonetheless, the star hasn't let this life update put a damper on her summer.
Case in point: She's recently showed off her extensive swimsuit collection, with a few recent looks including a blue leopard-print one-piece and neon green suit, the latter of which Vergara wore while vacationing in Italy for her birthday.
As the divorce proceedings continue—with Vergara recently requesting her prenup be enforced—the Modern Family alum has an exciting upcoming television project, called Griselda.
The show is set to be released on Netflix this fall, with season one to have six episodes total.
