Social Security Administration reveals the top baby names in Wisconsin for 2023:

(WFRV) – The United States Social Security Administration released Wisconsin’s 100 most frequent names for male and female births in 2023.

After finishing outside the podium in 2022, Theodore rose to the top spot, but just barely, with 301. The name Oliver had 298 in 2023 and finished runner-up. Rounding out the top three was Henry with 284.

As for female names, the top six remain unchanged from 2022, with Charlotte (254) in first, Olivia (231) in second, Evelyn (208) in third, Amelia (199) in fourth, Emma (197) in fifth, and Nora (181) in sixth.

For the entire United States, the top five male names were Liam, Noah, Oliver, James, and Elijah. For females, it was Olivia, Emma, Charlotte, Amelia, and Sophia.

The names of males who saw a drastic decline from 2022 to 2023 were Dion, Maxton, Davian, Heath, and Braden. It was Addilynn, India, Madisyn, Chanel, and Averi for females.
