SNL 1975 features some of the most iconic comedians of all time - only, they’re played by actors.

The film, an origin story chronicling the ‘70s inception of long-running comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live, has now found its core cast.

According to Deadline, Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner) plays Dan Aykroyd, Cory Michael Smith (Transatlantic, Gotham) plays Chevy Chase, Matt Wood (SpongeBob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical) plays John Belushi, and Lamorne Morris (New Girl) plays Garrett Morris.

Alongside them, Gabriel LaBelle plays legendary SNL showrunner Lorne Michaels, while Cooper Hoffman plays TV producer Dick Ebersol, and Rachel Sennott plays actress/writer Rosie Shuster. Jason Reitman directs.

SNL 1975 is a behind-the-scenes retelling of how the show came to air its first episode on October 11, 1975. With Chase, Aykroyd, and Belushi in tow, expect antics aplenty.
