The other night on Monday Night Football the Vikings brought out a little unexpected halftime show entertainment: a BMX rider who was absolutely throwing down.

While some online opportunists took the chance to make fun of him for not quite pulling his flip whip around, we're just stoked to see him out there ripping.

Take a look at the clip of him below.

Commentors were quick to point out that "Backflip" Billy Genett did much more than just crash in his halftime performance. He also threw down some heavy hitters like a Superman backflip and Sui no-hander flip.

Billy took to Instagram on the post of his crash to reply to the thousands of people who chimed in about his crash.

"Hey to everyone who posted on my knarly crash! Thank you all for the support and props on my attempt! I had a great time! Check out my feed and see the photo that came from this trick! I wanted that picture, more than to land it. Keep in mind I’m 43 years old. So hate on if you think it’s not a good pic, hit the like if you were entertained! To you who said halftime show was trash, loser obviously didn’t see the massive finale double flip from @brianfoxbmx! Peace" - Backflip Billy via Instagram

We, for one are all for Billy tearing it up and can't wait to see more from him in the future.

Superbowl halftime show maybe?
