Skier Pranks Utah Resort With Out-Of-The-Box Parking Solution

Utah-based, U.S. Ski Team marketing and communications director Courtney Harkins communicated her frustration with crowded parking in a hilarious way yesterday.

Harkins notes that "Deer Valley has preferred parking for Range Rovers in the front row of their lot." But what makes a car a Range Rover, really. Is it the design? The interior? Or... the logo?

First of all, you may be thinking: is this a joke? Preferred parking for Range Rovers? What's next... preferred parking for lambos?

Cut the ski bums some slack here.

You don't need to give schoolies and van-lifers free parking, but at least give back to the humble-but-hearty Subarus and Toyotas of the world!

Respect to whoever this is for slapping a Range Rover logo on the back of a Subaru! Now, the car says Range Rover, so who's to say it isn't one?

It reminds me of that song about building a car one piece at a time.

"I'd get it one piece at a time and it wouldn't cost me a dime

You'll know it's me when I come through your town

I'm gonna ride around in style, I'm gonna drive everybody wild

'Cause I'll have the only one there is a round!"

We might be seeing more of these antics as parking gets worse and worse at resorts near you.

Godspeed!
