Simone I. Smith has teamed up with Misa Hylton for a new jewelry collection. Launched under Simone I. Smith Jewelry, the SIS x MISA Denim and Diamonds Collection blends the unique style of each woman into a distinct aesthetic. With two earring styles, the partnership meshes the brand’s signature craftsmanship with Hylton’s innovative designs, resulting in a collection described as sophisticated and glamorous, with a touch of urban flair.
Both pairs of earrings feature brilliant simulated diamonds set in 18K yellow gold, with hand-crafted denim enamel. The Mysa style is a trapezoid-shaped doorknocker while the Simone is a square. The blinged-out hoops retail for $349.99 and can be purchased on the official website. Currently, there are waitlisting options for both designs due to the accessories selling out.
Simone I. Smith Jewelry was founded in 2011. The first design came after Smith’s diagnosis of stage III chondrosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. Following surgery, she discovered that the lollipop tattoo on her leg was altered. That was the inspiration for her signature lollipop pendant. Then came designs for hoops, bracelets, necklaces, men’s jewelry, and more.
Additionally, through her partnership with the American Cancer Society, she donates a portion of proceeds from each sale to the ongoing fight against the disease.
