Simone Biles Has a Direct Message for Fans After Pregnancy Speculation

Simone Biles has had enough of the pregnancy rumors.
The Olympic gold medalist took to her social media on Wednesday, Dec. 13, with a strong message aimed at those speculating that she could be expecting her first child with her NFL star husband, Jonathan Owens.
"I hate that I even have to address this," she began in a post shared to her Instagram Story. "But please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being 'pregnant.'"
The photo she was referring to was posted to her Instagram grid a day prior. It showed the gymnast, 26, posing at East Rutherford, New Jersey's MetLife Stadium during the recent New York Giant's game against Wisconsin's Green Bay Packers.
Biles sported a brown hip-hugging bodysuit and a cameo jacket in the photos, completing her sideline style with a knit hat bedazzled with her husband's jersey number.
But fans disregarded the intent behind the adorable post–which was Biles' cheering on her partner, Owens, 28, who is a strong safety for the Green Bay Packers–and instead, took to the comments with accusatory remarks.
"I see that belly," one rudely wrote.
"Is she expecting??" another top-liked comment asked. "Im so happy for them!!❤️❤️❤️."
"Is that a little baby bump there? 😍," a third inquiring mind questioned.
"Picture is sending baby vibes," suggested someone else.
Luckily, for Biles, others had her back, battling it out in the comments on her behalf.
"why are y'all thinking she's pregnant??" one shared. "She's literally competing in the olympics so i doubt she's thinking about having a baby rn??"
Similarly, someone else wrote: "She is not pregnant! So rude to assume without knowing. This woman has like a damn 12 pack that’s what you’re seeing. She’s also competing in the 2024 Olympics so no she’s not pregnant!"
"It is so incredibly rude to assume a woman is pregnant without her mentioning it," another added. "We only see what she chooses to post. You have no idea what may be going on in someone’s life."
Owens, who Biles married earlier this year, also commented on the post, simply sharing a pair of green and yellow heart emojis. "💚💛."
