Simone Biles is back and better than ever!

The most-decorated gymnast in history recently made her return to the sport after previously taking a break to prioritize mental wellness, and proved that even after being away for two years, she's still got it.

Over the weekend, Biles competed at the Core Hydration Classic outside of Chicago, Illinois, where she won the all-around, balance beam, and floor titles, in addition to scoring the highest on vault.

In the competition, the 26-year-old began on bars with a small misstep on a pirouette, but that served as no distraction for the rest of the event. The athlete reportedly "excelled for the remainder of the meet, capping the night with a Yurchenko double pike vault, a skill she is the only woman to land in competition," according to ESPN.

"I think the night went really well," Biles said after her performance. "Everything has fallen into place. I feel really good about where I am right now, mentally and physically. There are some things to work on in my routines, but for the first meet back, I would say it went pretty well. I'm very shocked and surprised."

Following her victorious results, the four-time gold medalist took to Instagram to express her elation with how her "comeback" went, sharing a photo of herself celebrating the accomplishments with a raised fist in the air.

"tears of joy as I make this comeback, surrounded by the love you’ve shown! thank you for believing in me 🫶🏾," she wrote in the August 6 upload's caption.

In the comment section, her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, showed his support for his lady's big win. "So damn proud of you baby ❤️❤️❤️ Makes my day seeing you so happy and back doing what you love, and having FUN!!! I love you so much 🤞🏽," he gushed.

Fellow gymnast Leanne Wong even popped in, exclaiming, "Incredibly honored to have followed after you in your first meet back! Amazing 🤩."

As Parade previously reported, it was first announced in a press release from USA Gymnastics on Wednesday, June 28, that the 2016 all-around Olympic champion had registered for the U.S. Classic and was set to make her return.
