The Sickos Went Iceberg Kitesurfing in the Arctic

The Sickos are an interesting group of guys. They’re all jacks of all trades, plenty good enough at all sorts of different things.

Skis, snowboards, surfboards… pretty much whatever they choose to ride, they’re riding it more than half-decently. They sure are willing to try their hands at new things, though, and that — along with some of the highest production value on YouTube — is what makes them so worth the watch.

In their latest adventure, they headed to the Arctic to do something not a lot of people would go to the Arctic to do: kitesurf. According to them, it was a “childhood dream” which is a strange childhood dream to have. But I’m not here to yuk anyone’s yum. It does look extraordinarily fun, if not extraordinarily cold.

It’s not the world’s safest activity, but nothing really fun is. Icebergs littered their track, and icebergs are not the most stable of objects. They move with the currents, create their own currents, and famously have a lot going on under the surface. For the Sickos, however, they served merely as fun obstacles to leap over.

When all was said and done, it was yet another successful mission to do something with no other purpose than to have fun. And in the end, what else is there?
