Siamese Cat Siblings are Mesmerized Watching Famous 'Lady and the Tramp' Scene

If you grew up watching Disney movies--or even rediscovered them as an adult--you're bound to have a few favorites that stand out among the rest. For me, this list is always changing, but one adventure I'll never tire of is the story of Lady and the Tramp. Trusty, Jock, Lady, and Tramp may as well have been my childhood pets!

I love to run into other people who have fond memories of this canine adventure film, but I've finally found something even better. Because the only thing greater than watching the iconic Siamese cat scene is watching Siamese cats watch the scene themselves!

On April 20, Siamese kittens Marty and Ozzy snuggled together on their cat tower to watch the adorable Disney movie. And—no surprises here—they were mesmerized by the Siamese on screen!

OMG! These kittens couldn't be watching the movie more closely if they tried. They are zoned in on the screen, and I'd like to think they can recognize another cat--or maybe even another Siamese cat--when they see one. If only we could see if they watched all the canine characters with the same focus!

While one commenter joked, "'Is this play about us?'" referencing the hit TV show 'Euphoria,' another reminded viewers that "this is why representation matters." LOL! Now that these young kittens have seen cats just like them excelling on the silver screen, they'll never be afraid to pounce for their dreams.

However, I do have a confession--this exact song from Lady and the Tramp is the first thing that popped into my head when I came across Ozzy and Marty's account. Actually, it's what pops into my head every time I see a Siamese cat! At least I know I'm not alone in this.

Is a Siamese Right for You?

While there's no denying how cute Siamese cats are, it's worth doing your research before you decide whether one is the right choice for your home. After all, these cats are so much more than loving and loyal companions!

This Asian cat breed is known for its graceful and athletic movements, and it should come as no surprise that they need plenty of exercise to thrive. These cats are curious and energetic, so make sure to stock up on lots of cat toys, scratching posts, and cat towers! However, Siamese cats can also become very attached to their owners--especially one favorite person--and they can even suffer from separation anxiety when undergoing big changes or left alone for a long time.

These are only the Siamese basics, though, so make sure to read up and watch plenty of videos (like Marty's and Ozzy's) before adopting a Siamese cat for yourself.
