A free shred day will be 9:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the South Rock Island Township office, 4330 11 St., Rock Island.

A give-away of furniture, clothing, kitchen, household items and more will be 9:30 a.m.-3 pp.m. Tuesday, May 2, the South Rock Island Township office, 4330 11 St., Rock Island.
