If you subscribe to any form of the boho aesthetic, then baskets have likely been part of your decor style since day one. You store your blankets in them, hang them on the wall, and now — thanks to Walmart — you can even pot your houseplants in them without creating a huge mess. The brand is selling woven planters that come with plastic inserts, so you can take your basket obsession to the next level.

“Who knew a trip to Walmart could turn you into a plant parent?” Krista from the Walmart Finds Instagram account wrote in a recent caption. “Just one look and you’ll want to spruce up your space with these woven beauties!”

“I love these,” one person commented on Krista’s post, to which she responded, “They have so many pretty options this year!”

All of the baskets Krista showed in her video are from the Better Homes & Gardens collection, and most have unfortunately sold out online (but check your local store!). Walmart does have a few options from other brands that are still available, though, including this tri-colored seagrass basket planter that you can score for under $10.

Because these planters have plastic inserts and no drainage holes, it’s important that you add your own drainage before planting. Layer a few stones at the bottom of the planter to give excess water a place to drain and prevent root rot, while also making sure you’re not overwatering your plants in the first place. Unlike terracotta or unglazed ceramic planters, these woven ones won’t wick away excess water, so err on the side of caution with your watering sessions.

Add even more boho flair to your space with these woven planters from Walmart (that double as decor!) and watch your plants come alive in an entirely new way.
