There’s a wrong way to eat pasta, and one Florida resident found that out the hard way.

Ben Padgett was arrested on Sunday, April 7, for “causing a disturbance” by wolfing down pasta with his bare hands outside an Olive Garden in Naples, Fla. As Florida’s NBC2 reports, Padgett was shirtless and smelled like alcohol and also allegedly asked the restaurant’s patrons for money.

NBC2 reports that 32-year-old Padgett asked an Olive Garden employee a sexually graphic question and threatened violence the worker, who called the police.

Padgett was charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence. After being escorted into the police car, the man allegedly banged his head against the car’s partition, leading to a head injury. The police took him for treatment at a local hospital, the Miami Herald reports.

After his injuries were treated, Padgett was then taken to the Naples Jail Center. He was released on a $2,000 bond, according to the Miami Herald.

Padgett is only the latest Florida resident to make “Florida man” headlines. Earlier this month, another Florida resident was arrested after falling asleep in a golf cart, with no fewer than five bottles of Fireball whiskey alongside him.
