ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – In a North Abilene neighborhood sits a proud mural of the Alamo painted on a fence. But what lies within? The owner of the mural seems to think time has carved an image of a pious deity of sorts.

The Abilene man, who painted the mural years ago, told KTAB/KRBC weather and time has chipped away at the paint. Now, he sees what could be described as Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary, or another holy figure.
One spectator said she could see Santa Muerte in lieu of the other possible images.
