These next-generation Brooks Ghost sneakers are at the top of Editorial Director Victoria Seaver’s wishlist. Both Seaver and I own the Ghost 14, and praise the shoe for its incredible balance of comfortable cushion and lightweight feel. These Brooks sneakers originally started out as Penelope Wall’s, assistant general manager, go-to shoe for running. She bought them after experiencing pain in her achilles tendon while prepping for a half-marathon, and hasn’t looked back since. I’ve expressed my love for this t-shirt a few times, and it’s never going to change. It’s comfortable, first and foremost, with a breathable fabric. But, secondly, and most importantly—it has the perfect cut. It covers just enough for when I want to be walking around in public, but doesn’t have so much fabric that it makes me sweat more. It hits right at the waistband for all of my favorite shirts and pants too, so I think it's a particularly nice choice for when you want to show off your whole outfit. I kind of have a small head and face, which means a lot of standard glasses just love to slide right off, especially if I am breaking a sweat. This style of Ray Ban glasses are one of the few pieces I can rely on to stay on while I’m walking. They are lightweight, so there’s not much weighing them down. This also makes them fairly comfortable to wear for hours on end. The grippy bridge pads at the nose also help keep them in place.
