Amazon has recently been the place for running shoe deals, with savings on Nike, New Balance, and Asics. But with REI’s Anniversary Sale underway, the Co-Op has a host of running shoe deals on top brands. That includes savings on Saucony, including the brand’s beloved Triumph line.

Saucony’s Triumph 21 shoe, released last year, is now on sale for 30% off, dropping the price to $112. It’s a savings of $48, and it’s still available in three colorways, with plenty of sizes well-stocked at REI. So far, the shoes have earned rave reviews, with multiple shoppers calling them "extremely comfortable."

The Triumph 21 is a neutral running shoe for runners looking for ample cushioning. The PwrRun+ foam is plush for long, comfortable miles, without compromising on weight. When Men’s Journal tested the Triumph 21, our running reviewer wrote, “[The] Triumph’s more responsive midsole makes it super versatile: It felt good at all paces, from relaxed long runs to short, fast jaunts around my neighborhood.”

The flat knit upper replaces the previous model’s engineered mesh upper for a softer feeling, while the lacing and collar are designed to ensure a secure fit. The shoes feature a 10 mm heel-to-toe drop, with a generous 37 mm heel stack. Despite its ample cushioning, the under 10 ounce weight will keep the shoes from feeling overly bulky.

Runners were impressed with the shoe’s out-of-the-box comfort and performance, including Saucony loyalists and those favorable to other brands. "I took these shoes right out of the box and ran a half marathon, no blisters, no hotspots and set a PR," one shopper wrote. "Very comfortable, previous shoes were Saucony Ride 14s." Another wrote, "The Triumph 21 handles heel-striking amazingly well, and it is one of the best shoes I know of for hard concrete pavement pounding."

Shoppers also appreciated the cushioning, including one who wrote, "My go-tos since starting with running. I'm a tall guy and over 200 pounds. The cushioning and bounce you get from these shoes makes runs less tiring and [recovery] quicker. Been slapping miles in these boys!!"

Whether you’re logging long miles or quick runs, Saucony’s Triumph 21 packs maximum cushioning into a lightweight, comfortable package. With three colors and plenty of sizes to choose from, REI’s Anniversary Sale is the best time to pick up a pair.
