Ryan Reynolds had the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever, and he took it.

When a crudely sketched version of a photo of his wife, Blake Lively, appeared on Instagram, alleging that the celebrity couple had commissioned it for a whopping two million dollars, Reynolds was quick to join in on the joke.

The original photo comes from a photo shoot the actress posed for in promotion of her new beverage line, Betty Buzz.

In it, she sat poolside with her legs crossed, taking off a cover-up to reveal her red, retro high-waisted bikini. Her hair was pulled back into pigtails and her lips were painted a matching shade of red as she smiled brightly.

The pricy makeover offers an interesting take on the image, with bold blue pen establishing harsh lines in what the Betty Buzz account called an "uncanny" caricature.

The Instagrammer, who goes by 2dollarartist and has a feed full of similar style line drawings of celebrities and fans of their work alike, wrote, "@blakelively & @vancityreynolds promised to pay me 2 million dollars after finishing this spectacular portrait," when they uploaded the side-by-side comparison on Sept. 28. "I want my payment now 💰."

According to the mastermind, the pen portrait took two days to draw. "I couldn't sleep, eat 🥲 for weeks... finally, it's finished now.. harwork paid off.." they added.

The Deadpool star reposted the sketch to his Instagram Story with a simple photo credit marked by an artist's palette emoji.

He neglected to make a comment regarding the image, but it really does speak for itself—as does his history of trolling both his wife and his colleagues.

In fact, when he posted a genuinely lovely tribute to his wife on her birthday this year, fans were concerned that something was wrong, so it's no surprise at all to see him hyping up someone else for doing the same.

If you'd like to see yourself drawn in a similar style, the artist takes requests via Instagram DMs.
