Reservations Just Opened for Disney's Newest Cruise Ship, Starting at $3,860 for Two—Get a Glimpse Inside

Treasured memories are waiting to be made on the Disney Treasure! The sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet will be setting sail in 2024, bringing stories from beloved Disney and Pixar films, as well as Disney theme park attractions to life.

The theme of the new ship is adventure in honor of Walt Disney’s passion for travel and exploration. The vessel is said to be "built for all sorts of capers and thrills" and "guests will come aboard and unlock more Disney stories than ever before."

Before setting off on an adventure on the high seas, here is everything to know about the Disney Treasure cruise ship.

The adventures begin in December of 2024.

Bookings opened to all guests on Sept. 20, 2023.

Where will the Disney Treasure sail from?

The ship, which can accommodate 4,000 passengers, will depart from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Where will the Disney Treasure go?

Guests can pick between a seven-night Western Caribbean cruise or two seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises during the ship's inaugural season. The Western itineraries include stops in Cozumel, Mexico, George Town, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Jamaica and Disney Castaway Cay, while one Eastern itinerary stops in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Disney Castaway Cay. Another Eastern itinerary sails to Tortola, British Virgin Islands, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Disney Castaway Cay.

How much are rooms on the Disney Treasure?

Prices for inside staterooms on the 7-Night Western Caribbean cruise start at $3,860 for two and $4,378 for two with an ocean view. Rates are slightly more for the 7-Night Eastern Caribbean cruise that visits the U.S. Virgin Islands. For two in an inside stateroom, the rates start at $3,999 and $4,447 for two with an ocean view. Meanwhile the Eastern cruise that goes to San Juan, Puerto Rico starts at $4,143 for two passengers.

The restaurant is the first theatrical dining experience themed to the movie Coco. At Plaza de Coco, "the story of Miguel and his familia will continue where it left off on screen." During their voyage, guests will enjoy two nights of "colorful, music-filled journeys" at the venue "that celebrate family memories and togetherness," per Disney.

Worlds of Marvel Restaurant

As on its sister ship, the Disney Wish, there is a Worlds of Marvel restaurant on board the Disney Treasure that offers a menu and entertainment inspired by the MCU. But diners on the Disney Treasure can look forward to a new dining experience, though those details have yet to be declassified.

1923

Named for the year Walt Disney Animation Studios was founded, 1923 is another restaurant concept from the Disney Wish. Over on the Disney Treasure, 1923 "will celebrate the profound impact of Disney’s animation legacy and bring to life Walt Disney’s love of adventure through a nostalgic collection of exploration-themed artwork from both modern and classic animated films."

Apart from the three main restaurants, the Disney Treasure will also have places to grab quick bites at Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods, cafes—including Jade Cricket Café inspired by Mulan and Heihei Café named for Moana’s rooster sidekick—and upscale dining for adults—Enchanté and Palo Steakhouse—in addition to Jumbeaux’s Sweets.

Jumbeaux’s Sweets

The ice cream parlor might evoke memories of Jumbeaux Café from Disney’s Zootopia movie. At the sweet spot, guests will find more than 20 flavors of handmade gelato, as well as 16 flavors of ice cream and sorbets, plus specialty treats and candies.

Skipper Society

Skipper Society is a lounge inspired by the classic Disney attraction The Jungle Cruise. According to DCL, the venue will feature "sly tributes to the trusty, dry-witted skippers" and a "playful atmosphere where guests will indulge in themed cocktails and light snacks."

Periscope Pub

Head under the sea while on board the ship at Periscope Pub. Watch the latest sports games and explore a menu of craft brews and light bites at Disney Cruise Line’s first venue inspired by the 1954 Walt Disney film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the Disney Parks attraction.

Like on the Disney Wish, the Disney Treasure will also feature the attraction. Riders are in for a new adventure on the Disney Treasure's AquaMouse as they join Minnie and Mickey in touring the mysterious Temple of the Golden Egg.

Stage Productions

No one puts on a show quite like Disney, and on board the Disney Treasure there will be three stage productions for guests to enjoy at the Walt Disney Theatre: Beauty and the BeastDisney Seas the Adventure and a brand new Broadway-style show.

Entertainment can also be found at the Aladdin-themed Grand Hall, including interactive shows, character encounters and musical performances.

What is on board the Disney Treasure for adults?

The Disney Treasure isn't just for families with children. The ship offers dining for only adults at Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement. At the entrance of the two upscale restaurants is The Rose, an elegant lounge inspired by Beauty and the Beast, where those 21 or older can sip cocktails. On board the Disney Treasure, there is also a secluded adults-exclusive area called Quiet Cove, which is home to an infinity pool, poolside bar and cafe. Guests can also unwind at Senses Spa or workout at Senses Fitness.

What is on board the Disney Treasure for kids?

There is plenty for young sailors! From infants and toddlers to children, tweens and teens, the Disney Treasure has spaces and "interactive programming" for kids of all ages, including Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, Star Wars: Cargo Bay and Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck. Little ones can also visit the Toy Story Splash Zone that features Trixie’s Falls wading pool, the Slide-a-Saurus Rex waterslide and Weezy’s Freezies smoothie bar.
