Rescued Cow Loves Hamming It up for the Camera

There's nothing cuter than a little fluffy cow, especially one that thinks she's a model! Pearl is a rescued cow who lives at @Sleepy Pig Farm, and she loves being in front of the camera. Her mom shared a video of her posing like a supermodel in mid-November 2023, and I can't get over the cuteness!

The video starts with Pearl noticing @Bonnie Rose with a camera. She approaches, and starts doing little hops, almost like she's prancing. In all of her photos, it looks like she's really striking a pose. She's definitely not camera shy at all!

She's a supermodel in the making! Pearl is absolutely adorable, and she knows it. When my girls were little they loved getting dressed up and posing in front of the camera. Maybe it's a girl thing!

This rescued cow has a lot to be thankful for, and I love to see that she's so happy and well-adjusted to her new home at @Sleepy Pig Farm. Located in Granville, NY, the farm is actually an animal sanctuary, and they have saved almost a hundred animals from neglect or slaughter. They're angels among us!

Commenters enjoyed watching Pearl work the camera, too. @Well_Thats_Interesting shared, "Well the camera loves her back." @Rachelle agreed, "She's so photogenic"! And @Chris Patrick made me laugh with, "“Take a pic of me smelling the hay… it’ll be cute.” - Pearl" He's definitely right about that!

How To Help Rescue an Animal

Not all of us have the resources to rescue goats from slaughter or pigs from abuse, but rescuing an animal can happen in different ways other than making them a part of your family. There are many ways that you can help animal sanctuaries, even if you never even have the chance to visit.

By donating money to fundraisers or through gift cards, you can help feed these animals. If you're local to one, you can donate your time by volunteering, helping transport animals as needed, or by purchasing food and delivering it directly to the sanctuary.

There are also non-monetary ways you can help. You can consider fostering animals like cats and dogs while they wait for their forever homes. You can promote their causes and posts on social media channels. Or if you have a platform like me where you can write and share your feelings, you can help them reach a whole new audience by sharing their story and mission. These animals deserve a second chance, and every litte bit helps!
