Red Bull Unveils The New Hardline Tasmania Course

Red Bull has finally lifted the curtain on the new Hardline: Tasmania course at Maydena Bike Park and it looks like it'll be living up to its namesake. The new track features an astounding roughly 1,700 ft. of vertical over only a mile and a half.

On top of that, there are jumps up to 75 ft. and a drop of over 30 ft. That is absolutely wild for a race course.

In addition to the stats and measurements, the course descends through three different geological biomes so the soil and rock composition will be different between the top and the bottom of the track. Talk about another reason to stay on your toes in an already gnarly race.

Red Bull also released the final start list of riders and to account for some injuries the list has been updated to contain a handful of fresh faces and wildcard entries from the original invitee list.

There will also be a five day bike festival leading up to the race so, if you're in the area definitely go out there and have some fun. The race will be streamed live on Red Bull's website on February 24th, you can find the page for that stream here. It isn't clear whether or not they will have this on a delay for American audiences to watch but I am sure that at the very least there will be a full replay up on the Red Bull site and YouTube by the next day.

Happy Hardline to all those who celebrate, racing is right around the corner.
