Rebel Wilson is keeping her fans in the loop regarding a recent on-set mishap that landed her in the hospital.

Last week, Wilson sustained a gnarly injury while working on her latest movie Bride Hard, forcing her to make a trip to the hospital to get stitches on her face.

The 43-year-old actress showed her fans the extent of the injury on her Instagram Story at the time—and now she's back with an update on how everything has been healing so far.

"Hey everybody, what’s up?" Wilson started off a new Instagram Story, viewed by PEOPLE. "I just wanted to say thank you for all your well wishes."

"I’ve actually been healing quite amazing," she revealed, before reportedly zooming the camera in on her face to show off the would healing on her nose.

"The stitches have dissolved out from my on set accident last week," Wilson added.

That's when the Pitch Perfect alum started to give more details about what exactly went down on set that day that caused her to wind up in the hospital at 4 a.m.

"I was shooting an independent movie in Savannah, Georgia," she explained, noting that she was "in the middle of a night shoot" on her last scene for the film when the accident occurred.

"I'd done all these kick-ass fight sequences and then just in the last one I got hit in the face with the butt of a gun," the mother-of-one revealed, insisting that it was "a complete accident."

Despite the accidental injury coming as a "shock," Wilson said she is lucky to be "healing very well," and is just thankful for all of the well wishes she has received.

"I hopefully will be totally, totally fine," she concluded, adding that she's "all good so thanks everybody."
