Pro Skier Stan Rey Sends Massive "Hot Tubs" Into Bottomless Snow

Everyone has their own way of dealing with Mondays.

For professional skier and Whistler Blackcomb local Stan Rey, his approach involves massive air time.

"Had a serious case of the Mondays today," Rey wrote in the caption to his post. "On the bright side I had whirlpool hot tub’s call me and want me to be one of their lead sales man after my impeccable performance today!"

Rey's referring to his butt-first landings—also known as "hot tubs" in freeskiing lingo.

While he didn't specify where these videos were shot, in all likelihood it was somewhere in the Whistler Blackcomb, British Columbia, area.

British Columbia has gotten nuked on recently, with Whistler Blackcomb picking up 60 inches of fresh snowfall in the past week. And when it snows, you can't go wrong with a little hot tub action. That's what powder days are for: landing butt first.

Conditions from here are taking a turn for the springy with toasty temperatures headed to Whistler Blackcomb this weekend. To anyone inspired by Rey's big mountain antics: staying on two feet might be the best move in the coming days.
