King Charles III and Prince Harry attend the 'Our Planet' global premiere at Natural History Museum on April 4, 2019, in London, England.

In the wake of Buckingham Palace revealing King Charles III's cancer diagnosis, multiple outlets report that Prince Harry will reunite with his estranged father in London.

Prince Harry will reportedly travel to London in the coming days to be with the king amid news of his unspecified cancer. Reportedly, the monarch informed both sons, Harry and Prince William—along with his siblings, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward—of his diagnosis before the news was released to the public.

The younger son of King Charles and the late Princess Diana stepped back as a senior member of the British royal family in 2020 and moved to California with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Archie, 4. In 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed a daughter, Lilibet, 2.

Reports of Prince Harry preparing to travel to London came after Buckingham Palace released a statement revealing King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer.

"During The King's recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer," the update read.

"The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure," the statement added. "He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible."

The message continued: "His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer."
