Precious Photoshoot with Orange Kittens Delivers Totally On-Brand Results

Most people think that cats are reserved and unfriendly — but the real ones know that this doesn't apply to orange cats. These guys are seriously goofballs. We feel bad for one poor photographer who recently tried to get two orange kittens to pose during a photoshoot. Let's just say the final results were *ahem* less than perfect.

Nils, the cat photographer, had his hands full when not one but two orange cats showed up for a session.

Judging by other videos on Nils' page, most cat photo sessions aren't quite as....lively. Although as a professiona,l Nils handled the unruly kittens really, really well. In the clip he shared online, an assistant needed to wave a cat toy above the kittens' heads to get them to pay attention and focus. Which sort of worked. Although when the photographer later showed the results of the photoshoot it sort of looks like adorable chaos.

"Just a regular orange kitty photoshoot with predictable results," Nils joked in the caption. "Orange kitties are so fun."

Not a single person in the comments section was surprised. "The last one is a winner," joked one person. "There's so much cute in their chaos," another commenter mused. "So funny it’s like stop that I’m telling Mom," someone else added. "You have one of the best jobs in the world," praised one commenter.

More About Nils Jacobi ‘Catographer'

While this was undoubtably one of Nils more challenging cases, the photographer has been using his talents to photograph cats for a long time. As he himself explained online, "My growing digital archive includes over 10,000 cat photos and hundreds of video clips of different cats and breeds," he wrote on his website. Thousands of photos of cats sounds like absolute heaven.

Nils also photographs and records cats for video productions and commercial photos. Lucky for all of us, he shares many of his best photos and videos online. Like this truly incredible time lapse video of a kitten growing into a cat.

The "catographer" said he put more than 60 hours of work into completing the project, and it wasn't even done yet. "I'm currently working on a similar project. Stay tuned, it's gonna be ameowzing," he vowed.

Another video on his page features a litter of Abyssinian kittens and it's downright mesmerizing.

As far as jobs goes, this has to be one of the best out there. We mean, you get to hang out with cats all day long. Sounds like a dream.
