Peoria restaurant extends hours of operation, updates its menu for spring

As the Peoria area heads into spring, Cyd’s in the Park is updating and expanding its services.

The business – situated in Donovan Park – announced updated spring and summer hours for its Take Away Market on April 2. Beginning next week, the restaurant also plans to expand its hours and days of operation.

What are the Take Away Market’s hours?

Cyd’s Take Away Market will be in operation between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Customers can find a variety of sandwiches, salads, baked goods and more.

When is the eat-in grill open?

Cyd’s in the Park will introduce new lunch and dinner services at its eat-in grill beginning the week of April 8. Lunch hours will be from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

For dinner, the restaurant will begin serving guests at 5 p.m. Final orders for the kitchen will be taken at 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The Star Bar will remain open later.

What’s on the menu?

The spring dinner menu features a variety of seasonally updated dishes, according to Cyd’s Vice President Emily Cotton. These include menu items such as:

  • Cozy snack tray for $26.

  • Komorebi grain bowl for $24. The dish features radish, cucumber, tart cherries, carrots, mint-dressed fennel and furikake crunch served with a rice and grain blend with edamame and a miso-citrus vinaigrette.

  • Cybele's burrata plate for $24. The dish is served with toasts and includes burrata, arugula, green goddess pesto, watermelon radish and a citrus drizz.

Customers can also find desserts like a lemon crème brûlée for $14 on the menu. More information about the dinner menu can be found here.
