Patrick Mahomes Reacts to Wife Brittany's Epic Handshake With Taylor Swift

Patrick Mahomes is feeling a little competitive over wife Brittany Mahomes' secret new handshake with Taylor Swift.

After Brittany, 28, and Taylor, 33, debuted the fun little handshake routine at the latest Kansas City Chiefs game last weekend, the star quarterback is ready to one-up his wifey—and who better to do it with than Taylor's new beau, his teammate Travis Kelce.

"I need to talk to Travis," Patrick, 28, said during a new interview with Kansas City's KCSP on Thursday, Oct. 26, according to Us Weekly. "Me and Travis don’t even have a handshake yet."

"So I mean, they’re ahead of the game on us," he admitted, before adding, "So we’re gonna have to get on the whiteboard, and we’re gonna figure out a handshake so that we can try to one up theirs."

But the two NFL players certainly have their work cutout for them, as fans couldn't get enough of Brittany and Taylor's epic handshake moment, which involved hitting each other's palms and topping it off with a little hip bump.

"It's peak girlhood I love it so much," one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote in response to the now-viral video of the handshake.

"It's giving sisterhood," added another. "So adorable."

"Too cute hahaha!!!" another user gushed, while someone else dubbed it, "The Handshake."

Last weekend's game was Swift's fourth time cheering on Travis from the crowd, watching from the luxury suite as the Chiefs dominated the Los Angeles Chargers.

The "Anti-Hero" songstress was even wearing a friendship bracelet with her man's jersey number on it, while also decked out in Chiefs gear to further show her support.
