Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is headed to the Super Bowl in the hope of winning a third ring in Las Vegas next month. The Chiefs' victory over the Detroit Lions in the AFC Championship on Jan. 28 prompted some celebration in the locker room as the team had secured their spot in upcoming Super Bowl.

The NFL shared a glimpse of what that locker room celebration looked like in a clip from the long-running Emmy-winning series Inside the NFL, streaming now on The CW app. In the video, head coach Andy Reid gave a rousing speech and a pep talk to remind them that they still have one more game left to win. Mahomes, who was shirtless by this point, echoed a similar sentiment. "Great job today," Mahomes told his teammates. "Like I've been saying: We ain't done yet."

Some commenters were surprised at Mahomes' physique, but Mahomes laughed off the criticism of his "dad bod." "Yoooo why they have to do me like that?!" he posted on X with the hashtag "#DadBodSZN." He noted in a follow-up tweet that he is an actual dad after all. "Like I got kids!!!!" he said. Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes are parents to three-year-old daughter Sterling and one-year-old son Bronze.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on Feb. 11. Regardless of his physical appearance, Mahomes seems to have been doing just fine so far this season.
