Did one Taylor Swift fan predict the pop star's Travis Kelce romance? Swifties think so, and are urging the "time traveler" to try her luck at something else: the lottery.
In a resurfaced social media post, married couple Makayla and Nick Stephens can be seen dressed up as Swift and Kelce, respectively, for Halloween. Alongside the image, which was originally shared via Instagram on Oct. 31, 2020, the caption had fans seriously in awe of the way the new couple's love was seemingly foreshadowed.
"I don’t know any world in which Taylor Swift + Travis Kelce would be in the same room together, but apparently in this one they’re married? #HappyHalloween," she wrote at the time, three years before a similar version of the specified situation actually materialized in real life (obviously, the singer and football player aren't married—yet?).
Once Swifties caught wind that such an image existed, there was no turning back!
The comment section of the social media post has since exploded with astounded fans, who simply couldn't believe how well the caption has aged.
"😂 Please play the lotto for your own sake," one urged of the seemingly clairvoyant abilities displayed.
"this is so crazy," another simply noticed, while someone else called them "time travelers 👀."
A fourth admitted, "This makes me wonder what you were last year so I can plan for next year. :-)"
"Gotta bring this costume back for Halloween 2023!👏👏👏," someone else suggested, and we have no doubts there will be plenty of other couples that follow suit this year.
It was first reported earlier this month that the "Bad Blood" singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end were "quietly hanging out," after the NFL star expressed his disappointment regarding a failed attempt to connect with Swift at one of her concerts in July.
On Sunday, Sept. 24, the pair made their first public appearance together following the "Cruel Summer" artist's attendance at Kelce's football game, seemingly confirming the swirling dating rumors.
