Loft has officially entered the plus-size market. As of Monday, customers will be able to shop the brand’s stylish line of dresses, trousers, blouses, and more in Loft’s signature bright-color palette and floral prints in sizes 16 to 26. The new plus collection will complement Loft’s petite, tall, and maternity lines.

In September 2017, the launch of Loft Plus was first teased by This Is Us star Chrissy Metz when she wore a custom black-and-white polka-dot wrap dress by the brand on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

“Chrissy is such a Loft girl. We love her attitude, energy, and optimism,” Loft SVP and chief marketing officer Laura Jacobs tells Yahoo Lifestyle. But as much as one would like to attribute the brand’s segue into the plus-size market to a star like Metz, the brand credits its customers for the move. “We are always listening to our clients, whether it’s from the field, on social media, or through surveys; Plus was the next venture for us based on feedback. We are so excited to provide more women with the versatile color, print, and pattern that Loft is known for.”

As for Metz’s wrap dress, you can now buy it online at loft.com for less than $90. It’s just one of the stylish, affordable offerings from the new collection, which includes chic dresses, trousers, and skirts — all equally appropriate for the office, date night, or weekend outing. Standout on-trend pieces include a floral kimono jacket and wildflower satin pajama shirt, both less than $100.
