A Real Housewife/HSN Designer Joins ‘Fashion Police’

NeNe Leakes used to just be a housewife. But now she’s so much more. In addition to her acting stints on Glee and The New Normal (remember that show? neither do I), competing on Dancing With the Stars, and taking on Broadway in Chicago and Cinderella, she’s now joining the cast of Fashion Police.
Taking a seat alongside Melissa Rivers, Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, and Margaret Cho, the former bad bi*** on Real Housewives of Atlanta will debut on Monday for the show’s Golden Globes special. Leakes has been a guest on the show frequently, critiquing red carpet looks since 2013.
What makes Leakes qualified for the job? Well, one time, within a span of 24 hours, Beyoncé, former Fashion Police host Giuliana Rancic, and Leakes all wore the same Alexander Wang look and the reality star took second place (no one can beat Queen Bey, so she had the deck stacked against her to begin with) in a best-dressed poll. Also, she has a line for HSN, which is obviously the mark of a real fashion aficionado.
