A new crime procedural is coming to television, and it's of the "high-concept" variety. Deadline reports that NBC has given a series order to a show called The Hunting Party a year after the network opened a writers room for the project.

Created by JJ Bailey and co-written by Bailey and The Endgame co-creator Jake Coburn, The Hunting Party is about "a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist," per Deadline

What is the release date for The Hunting Party?

NBC has not announced an exact release date but the series is part of the network's 2024-25 slate alongside Seasons 2 of The Irrational and Found, the OneChicago and Law & Order shows (in whatever capacity they're renewed), and possibly Quantum Leap, which is on the bubble.
