Nando's just launched their new summer menu, and we want to try everything
Calling all Nando’s fans, as summer (finally) approaches, the restaurant chain has launched its brand new summer menu, and we are obsessed with the new additions, which includes three salads, a new wrap, a new dessert, and drum roll please…the return of Peri-chicken gravy.
The new menu, which launches today (14th May), is set to include a brand new Fully Loaded Wrap which features pulled chicken, fresh avocado, pink pickled onions, lettuce, a PERi-PERi crumb, smoky PERi-Tamer sauce and creamy Caesar dressing. Sorry, don’t mind us just drooling over here.
Also set to arrive is the Spicy Rice Bowl with obviously includes the Spicy Rice along with long-stem broccoli, crunchy rainbow slaw, pickled cauliflower and houmous with PERi-PERi seeds. You can then add on chicken or halloumi depending on what you’re feeling.
As it’s summer we’re all about a fresh salad and on the summer menu, both the caesar salad and mediterranean salads are returning, and there’s a new salad too, which is perfect for tomato lovers as it features a trio of semi-dried, sweet baby and salad tomatoes with cucumber and pink pickled onion and a Peri-Peri dressing too.
Oh, and we’re not done yet. If you’re really in the mood for a feast, now on the menu is the XL Wing Platter, serving 15 wings with a choice of two large OR four regular sides. The Peri-Chicken Gravy is now also set to return to the menu later this month.
And if you’re a lover of the Wild Herb you'll be pleased to know it’s launching on the PERi-ometer for the first time ever. To cool off from all the spice, there's' two Quencher flavours on the menu too - Cloudy Lemonade and Strawberry & Dragon Fruit.
Now, we’ve saved quite possibly the best news for last. All summer meals require ice cream as the dessert, sorry, we don’t make the rules. And now Nando's is introducing a Bottomless Soft Swirl aka unlimited vanilla ice cream made with Jersey cow’s milk in a waffle cone or tub. This is what summer dreams are made of.
The menu is now available in all Nando’s restaurants in the UK and Ireland.
