MS Team Officially Bids Farewell To Mondraker

This offseason from World Cup racing has been one of the most eventful in recent memory. Many riders have changed teams and many are still looking. There is also a large shakeup with sponsors.

When the news broke that MS Mondraker was coming to an end, it seemed like the brand was pulling out of World Cup racing. Thankfully, things are not that dire, and MS has another brand lined up to sponsor them. Read their full statement below.

We’re so stoked to have given Mondraker Bikes the platform to thrive in the World Cup Series over the past 12 years. With multiple World Cup wins, World Cup podiums, World Champs wins and medals.

We wish them all the best and look forward to seeing them at the races as rivals.

The last sentence is relieving. Thankfully the brands we worried were done fielding race teams will be back in 2024 and hungry.

Some current speculation has been that the MS team will ride for Intense Cycles. This rumor started when MS Team owner Markus Stöckl posted a throwback of himself riding an Intense.

While nothing has been confirmed, Intense has teased a team for the year.

Markus “Max” Stöckl is a legend in the bike world. In addition to racing World Cups and managing a team, He also set the world record for fastest speed on a bike. Read more about this below.
