Mrs. Meyer's Compassion Flower Scented Product Line Is Back
And their community garden initiative is back too

This spring, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day has officially reopened their Lots of Compassion program. Established in 2023, the program aims to spread a love of gardening and community nationwide. The Lots of Compassion program offers grants to organizations looking to transform vacant plots of land into fully functioning community gardens—the perfect way to spread compassion.
Last year, Mrs. Meyer’s worked with PanAmerican Seed horticulturists to create a brand new flower hybrid: the Compassion Flower. The flower is a viola-pansy hybrid, making it the very first hybrid of its kind ever created. The Compassion Flower signifies the spreading of kindness. a fitting theme for Mrs. Meyer’s.
Using the scent of the real Compassion Flower, Mrs. Meyer’s created a sweet floral scent for their range of home cleaning products. This year, you'll find all different kinds of Compassion Flower products available at both Mrs. Meyer’s and Walmart, from hand soap to fabric softener.

Lots of Compassion Program
For every Compassion Flower hand soap sold through Mrs. Meyer's or through Walmart, Mrs. Meyer’s will donate $1 to the Lots of Compassion program. The brand has pledged up to $1 million for the program through 2027, meaning new community gardens will have the opportunity to apply over the next few years.
The grants will cover those who are looking to transform vacant land into community gardens. As part of the program, organizations, non-profits, and more can apply for a community garden grant with Mrs. Meyer’s.
Last year’s Lots of Compassion program saw ten different grants help organizations transform empty space into thriving community gardens that are still immensely popular today. Thanks to this year’s Lots of Compassion pledge, we can expect to see plenty more community gardens pop up with help from Mrs. Meyer’s.
