Earlier this month, 11-time world champ Kelly Slater celebrated the opening of his new wave pool, Surf Abu Dhabi, with an all-star cast of surfers.

Chris Hemsworth, the muscled Australian actor and father of three who plays the Norse god Thor in the Marvel movies, made a trip to the new wave pool with his family.

As celebrities like to do after a visit to a Slater wave pool, he shared footage of the trip on social media.

Hemsworth captioned the post above:

"Watching my kids progress through the day until they were backhand tube riding better than the adults was all time 🤙thanks @kellyslater @surfabudhabi@mitchcrews for a super fun session"

The post features numerous clips and photos of the movie star and his two sons getting perfect waves at the exclusive wave pool.

It looks like the kids can surf. In one clip, Hemsworth, a regular footer, gets barreled going backside. The kids get barreled too.

What a fun family vacation.

Check out the post above and scroll through the footage.

Pro surfers commented on Hemsworth's post:

Strider Wasilewski wrote: "How fun is that place… I’m pumped to go back already"

Owen Wright commented: "How good bro!!!

Hemsworth and Wright are already surf buddies and shared a session on the actor's 40th birthday in Byron Bay with his brother, actor Liam Hemsworth.

Surf Abu Dhabi is powered by the Kelly Slater Wave Company, the same technology behind Slater's Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California. It was developed by Modon Properties and is located on Hudayriyat Island.
